I really don't know how I befriended Kyubi there. There wasn't even a cutscene that asks you if you want to be friends with that Yo-kai, like with most of the other Yo-kai out there. It just shows up out of nowhere pretty much. Also, I befriended her right after I hit her with a rare 999 damage poke. I don't know if they are connected or not.
