    The comics are slightly darker. But for real, in 30 years, Sonic and Sally get married and become king and queen, Shadow becomes a king and tries to kill Sonic ('cuz, reasons), and Tails marries Mina the Mongoose.

    And Shadow the Hedgehog (the video game) was meant for older players, 'cause the game has guns and unnecessary cursing. Also, Knuckles' music in Sonic Adventure 2 had some... more mature lyrics. And don't even get me started on Sonic 06.
