Ending help (spoilers)

How do I get the last shot above water for Yuri's good ending? Seemed like I had to defeat the final boss 3 times, ending under water. How do I get back on top?

As long as you don't do a Fatal Glance, the final boss will regenerate either above or below water. Only do the Fatal Glance above water to get the good ending.
