    Actually I consider Nova to be Copy X. True Zonda I consider to be Elpizo. It's quite interesting in my opinion.

    i say this because i just recently finished Megaman Zero. (i'm marathoning the collection. i never played this series before. i'm on the third game now.) and True Zonda reminded me of Copy X because they both turned into seraphs...is it just me, or is there a lot of religious references in these Inti Creates games? and i can also see the Elpizo similarity you mentioned.

    It isn't your imagination. Inti Creates throws in A LOT of mythological and biblical references into their games. Actually a person who was streaming a Megaman marathon for charity said he wrote an entire college essay about Zero being based on the messiah.

    *Shrugs*...I'm pretty sure he said that he covered more biblical and mythological references. I only remember him talking about how Zero kept coming back to life. I think he mentioned the correlation of Zero's reactivation in the Zero series and the timing in regards to the plot. It was a long time ago so I don't recall exactly what he said.
