If you've already beaten Pirate's Curse and can't wait for Half-Genie Hero, I know a game that can fill in that need until HGH's release. Owlboy. A fun, charming, clever metroidvania of high-level pixel art worth a decade of hard work and loving care.

    It has a unique feel of gameplay, a level of pixel art to rival Shantae, a story with a similar air to Freedom Planet or Cave Story, and boatloads of charm! I highly, HIGHLY recommend Owlboy to anyone who love games like Shantae or even those who want to enjoy a good story.
