    He was my first Champion! AND HE WAS HARD!!! THE WHOLE UNOVA ELITE FOUR WAS HARD! I can't remember if I had a hard time with my favourite champion Iris. But I remember beating her with my trusty Emboar and Zoroark AND a Muk, Zubat, Vanillite and Crustle which I never used in battle before.

    One word. Cynthia. Alder, IMO is like Bear Grylls. Admirable, but you wouldn't want to meet with him. Cynthia is strong, compassionate, and most importantly, got a good story line to her. Alder just... appears somewhere. Unpopular opinion: Red is the WORST champion (and not because of the high levels)
