  But on a more serious note, how would you rate your satisfaction with this game? I take it you enjoy it more than 9 and 10, but is it really worth the purchase? I don't see myself liking it very much, so I'll probably hold off, though I did spring for a few of the new amiibo. Well, my dad bought them for me. So now my amiibo collection is up to 43.   I've been having a ton of fun playing it with friends! I haven't actually played 9, 10, or Island Tour, but I can tell I wouldn't enjoy them as there's no strategy to them. This game finally brings strategy back. Obviously there are still chance elements, but that's what makes a good Mario Party game, allowing the player to be in control and strategize while also mixing things up with random...

(MP3 is my favorite game in the series, and I've played through the singleplayer campaign 3 times, but only to unlock stuff and the games basically ended up being me resetting over and over again until the dice rolled in my favor.)   Yeah, doesn't sound like it would have much of an appeal for me, seeing as I would probably be playing solo most of the time. I thought Bowser Party mode was a blast in MP10, honestly, but there were only three boards you could select for it and just 10 Bowser minigames, which doesn't really justify the full price.   Mario Party 9 disappointed me, because when one person rolls the dice, everyone moves all at the same time. It gets annoying. Still, minigames are pretty good, and some other game modes are entertaining.
