  • I got angry on Mario party island tour because i was playing street pass and had the same score but still lost and i threw a rage quit so bad that now i want to sell it or at least get rid of it.

  • From your profile description: "...really optimistic! Nothing gets me down!" In Mario Party Star Rush: "I'm angry! That's great!" I envy your level of enthusiasm.

  • But on a more serious note, how would you rate your satisfaction with this game? I take it you enjoy it more than 9 and 10, but is it really worth the purchase? I don't see myself liking it very much, so I'll probably hold off, though I did spring for a few of the new amiibo. Well, my dad bought them for me. So now my amiibo collection is up to 43. Someone stop me before it's too late...

  • I've been having a ton of fun playing it with friends! I haven't actually played 9, 10, or Island Tour, but I can tell I wouldn't enjoy them as there's no strategy to them. This game finally brings strategy back. Obviously there are still chance elements, but that's what makes a good Mario Party game, allowing the player to be in control and strategize while also mixing things up with random...

  • events. I'd definitely recommend it if you want a great multiplayer game and enjoy the general Mario Party formula. If you plan on only playing single player, I probably wouldn't recommend it. (The same goes for every Mario Party, really.) That said, I've actually enjoyed playing against the CPUs. I suppose that's due to the shorter game time, higher reliance on skill and strategy, and the fact...

  • that you don't have to play singleplayer to unlock anything. (MP3 is my favorite game in the series, and I've played through the singleplayer campaign 3 times, but only to unlock stuff and the games basically ended up being me resetting over and over again until the dice rolled in my favor.) The game isn't the best Mario Party ever, but it's still great fun. I'm definitely very satisfied,...

  • and I'm glad I stayed cautiously optimistic about it. Also, I bought the new Waluigi (duh), DK, and Diddy Amiibo. That means I now have... 8 Amiibo. Seems like I don't have the addiction... Yet. :P

  • Yeah, doesn't sound like it would have much of an appeal for me, seeing as I would probably be playing solo most of the time. I thought Bowser Party mode was a blast in MP10, honestly, but there were only three boards you could select for it and just 10 Bowser minigames, which doesn't really justify the full price. I definitely hope the inevitable Mario Party Switch will take the series back to...

  • ...it's routes. The possibilities of playing Mario Party with friends on Switch actually really excites me, now that I think about it. I got the Waluigi amiibo as well, along with Daisy and Wario. I already have the Smash amiibo of DK and Diddy, so I passed on those, as I'm not one to buy different poses for the same character. I did for Wario, but only because his two amiibo look so...

  • ...cosmetically different from each other. I never got the Smash series Rosalina, so I look forward to getting the new version as well as Boo at some point, along with the new Zelda ones coming out. I think the appeal of amiibo is honestly starting to lose some of its luster for me, though, so I may stop collecting new ones after this year. But that's probably a lie, because Nintendo will have...

  • ...all sorts of amazing new amiibo to coincide with Switch, and my amiib-OCD will continue. Get out while you still can, Micah. Amiiboholism is a serious problem. :P

  • Mario Party 9 disappointed me, because when one person rolls the dice, everyone moves all at the same time. It gets annoying. Still, minigames are pretty good, and some other game modes are entertaining.
