The true final boss of Skyward Sword is the Lumpy Pumpkin Harp Duet sidequest. The motion controls are very hard, and you need to do it so you can unlock another sidequest that gives Gratitude Crystals, Link is worthy of wielding the Master Sword and he slayed a Demon Lord and his master, but he can't impress 2 guys in the Lumpy Pumpkin.
