    They first appeared in Super Mario World. They were meant to appear in Super Mario 64, but weren't because of time constraints. It has a model, but it has no textures and can't attack you.

    Haha! Lava Hippos! But yeah, totally agree! Blarggh is my favorite character in Tetris Attack too, and has awesome music in that game!
