We could've had "The Bon Odori", "Toss Boys", or "Tram and Pauline", but instead, we got this. Sometimes I don't get the Rhythm Heaven development team.

  • actually, now that I'm thinking about it, regarding that "at least they didn't include Moai Doo-W-oop, but did include Working Dough" Junk, I've got an even better one for ya, Lockstep! While I still stand by my argument that I don't want to count the Moai game because it's ds, when I'm doing a Rhythm Heaven gba discussion thread here, as a follow-up to my Lockstep thread,

  • I honestly would rather have Moai Doo-W-oop than Lockstep!

  • I actually liked Lockstep. IN MY OPINION, It's pretty easy.

  • Look my friend, I have no intention to make you change your opinion about Lockstep, nor am I implying any form of disrespect to either you or your opinion. I however still feel the need to ask this! How is Lockstep easy? You can disagree with me about this, but Lockstep was infuriating! the constant pressing while the possibility of being thrown off rhythm makes for a frustrating minigame!

  • At least with both Moai Doo-W-oop and Working Dough, they let you take a short breather between each set of rhythm events in their respective minigame. I must ask, how does Lockstep get a pass when both Moai Doo-W-oop and Working Dough have far less problems than Lockstep does?!

  • Okay, first, I said "IN MY OPINION" just so nobody would misconstrue my statement. Second, Just breathe, and close your eyes. The biggest problem is the top/left screen (Left if you're playing gold). Plus, If you have Gold, Lockstep 2 is VERY easy, as it's slower.

  • maybe DLC for the games we wished were on the game?

  • I beg of you to not have any hard feelings after this response. I want to respect your opinion, but I feel the need to say all of this! You: "If you have Gold, Lockstep 2 is VERY easy, as it's slower." Me: The mere fact that the second variation is easier than the first one is a problem in it of itself, as the reprisals are supposed to be more challenging than the first time around.

  • Shrimp Shuffle, Donk-Donk, and Bunny Hop are a few other Rhythm Heaven Minigames that I also don't like, and last I checked, they don't have a top/left screen (not counting the Megamix variant of Bunny hop). You: I actually liked Lockstep. IN MY OPINION, It's pretty easy. Me: I respect that. however, not everyone's opinions are the same. I could like Carmel and hate Butterscotch,

  • while you can be Vice-versa. What I'm getting at is I'm not misconstruing your statement, I'm saying that I have a difference of opinion. also, to quote a guy whose videos I like; Everyone can have Opinions, I have Opinions, but said Opinions CAN BE CHALLENGED! If someone puts an Opinion on a public forum, people are allowed to question it (and yes, that can apply to me to). However,

  • the moment you try to rationalize your reasoning with supposed facts, such as controls and difficulty, the Opinion card DOES NOT WORK, because people can criticise not only your facts, but to the same extent, your Opinions that are based on said facts (and yes, this can and will be applied to me as well)! Trust me, I believe that you love Lockstep, I really do. I'm not here to shame you

  • nor do I judge you for loving it. Love it as much as you want! All I'm trying to say here is that FOR ME, Lockstep was pure torture! I understand that the version on DS was supposedly more fair than Megamix, the stylus controls were so abysmal (to me at least) that it really doesn't do much on my end. I just want you to know that everyone has a right to their Opinions and we can choose to defend

  • the games we love! At the end of this discussion, I don't want to make enemies, that's not what I came to Miiverse for, all I wanted to do was make people laugh at my content, or just discuss about Gameplay experiences. At the end of the day and this thread, I hope I didn't make an enemy out of you. I respect your Opinion of you liking Lockstep, I just want you to understand that I'm different.

I may be different here, but you're entitled to your Opinion of Lockstep. At the same time I can defend both Moai Doo-W-oop and Working Dough if I choose to! If I can be allowed to talk about it, I believe Megamix can make the Moai game easier.

  • And with that, my long winded rant comes to an end. as I said before, I do not begrudge you for liking Lockstep and not liking Moai Doo-W-oop or Working Dough, I just wanted to share an Opinion with you. I honesty don't know how you'll feel about me after this? But please don't think of me as the enemy or a troll for having this argument. Maybe we can discuss our Rhythm Heaven Experiences together

  • oops, I hope I didn't cause confusion here? I think my discussion page might have glitched on me so to clarify my reasoning, I respect that you like Lockstep, but please understand that I don't. At the same time,I'll respect that you don't like Working Dough, even though I do. I just hope we can try to be rational about our experiences and have friendly conversations in the future.

  • Well, I have one way we can hopefully meet halfway: Why did we get Coin Toss? We could've had Samurai Slice (though that'd be 4 Samurai Slices...) or Glass Tappers. But no. Flipping coins. WONDERFUL.

  • (EXHALES) Phew, that actually went better than I expected it to. Well, while I am in agreement about that, not only can the same be said for all the Gate Challenges, but Sick Beats was made into an Endless Minigame and not it's own Rhythm Minigame! What's up with that?!

    Yeahs0

  • I say that Sick Beats is better as an Endless Game. And also, Clap Trap? I'd rather have Munchy Monk (even though it would be right after the real Munchy Monk... MEH). And also... Why did the staff make Endless Games mandatory? It kinda makes them less fun.
