NOOOOOO! Nobody told me by transferring my sd card data to my new larger sd card would destroy the save data on both sd cards... :'[ now ... everythings ..... gone. I even followed the instuctions on the nintendo support site.

    The back up is on my computer but, the save data is broken. Also if your referring to the backup via 3ds [settings] pokemon games won't allow those. Which makes me think now that copying the data breaks it for security reasons, but if thats true why would my original save-data break as well??? (crying over loss)

    I just upgraded from a 2GB SD card to a 32GB SD Card today, all of my save data for every game is fully intact, not entirely sure what you did wrong when you did it. Either your data got corrupted somehow in the process of transfer, or the SD Card you transferred your data to may not have been properly formatted for use with the 3DS Family of consoles.
