Don't have a lot of time to play right now, but some quick thoughts from what I've played: A theory I had before release is definitely looking more likely. Already like Hau, antagonistic rival be danged. Are we ever going to get a pre-title screen opening again? This is 2 Generations in a row.

    How can flash be used to help catch legendaries?

    1. It lowers the Legendary Pokémon's accuracy, making it less likely to be hit by something that would force we to swap Pokémon. 2. It stalls turns. In prior games, Pokéballs would work better the longer you went without using a Ball.

    If I'm lucky enough to catch a Ditto, which for some reason is rare in Alola, I might be able to make fairly versatile team. At least more versatile than what I had in mind.

    What better offer for a starter than a starter you don't have? I bred Decidueye a couple of times to get a pair of Rowlet, and they were traded within just a couple of minutes. Even better, upon completing the main story, you get the Z-Crystals for the two starters you didn't get.

    I haven't had a chance to catch any, yet. Outside of the Tapus, you have to go through a miniature quest to get access to the Ultra Beasts. The only Legendary Pokémon I have are Lunala, who is a mandatory catch, and Tapu Koko, who is a mandatory battle during the credits.

    Somehow, they made Feebas harder to catch in Sun & Moon than it is in Ruby & Sapphire.

    In Sun & Moon, the only way to encounter Feebas is to fish for it in Brooklet Hill. The encounter rate 1%. The only way to boost the rate is to fish when bubbles foam from the fishing spot. But it's still a measly 5%, and it shares it's spots with Goldeen and Magikarp. In Ruby & Sapphire, once you found one of the 6 spots Feebas would appear, encountering one was easy.

    Finally found & caught one. 3,000 Pokédollars was too cheap considering the amount of effort needed to catch it.
