Here is the good news. I got all the characters. 2 of them I unlocked by using 2 amiibo and the other 2 I leveled up. I think I still have some minigames to unlock.

    When I scanned my donkey kong and diddy kong amiibo, I instantly unlocked them. It also works with Rosalina. As for Toadette, she needs to be unlocked regularly due to the fact that there is no such thing as a Toadette amiibo.

    Wait, Toadette is playable, yet she doesn't have an amiibo? That's honestly a little disappointing, I'd probably have bought one.
