    台座の下の面をnew3DSの下画面がカードリーダーに乗せれば、読み込めるはずですよ。

    3DS→別売りの読み込む機械が必要 new3DS→下画面にタッチ アミーボカードは読み込めているんですよね?お使いの3DSはnewと旧式、どちらですか?

    カード型は読み取れるのですよね？ お持ちのamiibo(フィギュア型)は「どうぶつの森、スプラ、ゼルダ、モンハン」各シリーズのものですか？ これら以外のamiiboは対応外で使えないと思います。
