  • Yeahs2
  • For a moment, I thought you'd gotten the A Team van itself.

    Yeahs3
  • I hope to get this by Christmas too. Looks great.

    Yeahs1
  • yeah how cool would that be Boy Wonder , having the A-Team van . Me and my mates would have a whale of a time in that , Skidding up at the side of the road, jumping out shouting 'it's OK where here to help!

    Yeahs0
  • @Pete , Argos have some good deals on it at the moment , with many of the fun packs half price and deals on other packs, plus buying the game itself gives you the choice of a funpack and the odd teampack for free . But i had to get the A-Team..But remember PS4 and Xone versions sell for a tenner more compared to the others. But i had to go for WiiU as i love the dual screen multiplayer.

    Yeahs1
  • I was wondering why the WiiU version is cheaper. I'm getting quite alot of PS4 games recently, so I'd want to get it for either my Xbox One or WiiU.

    Yeahs1
  • @Pete , i know the PS4 and Xone versions have animated hero icons are something like that ive read , whether the feature is that important i dont know, also we dont know if the Wii U version like the X360 and PS3 versions run at 720p , i bet there 1080p on PS4 , XONE . plus i bet loading times are long compared to a installed game on the pc twins. Plus PS4 has exclusivity on certain characters --

    Yeahs1
  • -- for a time ' ie: Supergirl'' And i'm sure the Xbox usb portals are unique to Xbox unlike the other systems .. I know they are for Skylanders and Disney Infinity..

    Yeahs1
  • Animated hero icons? You know, I've never actually fully recognised the benefits of installing games. So faster loading times is one?

    Yeahs1
  • yeah it's well known the WiiU download version of Lego City cuts load times by half , and i must admit the disc version are quite long, enough to put the kettle on , but not not make a actual cuppa..but not far of..

    Yeahs1
  • But would you prefer longer loading times and more space or less loading times, yet less storage space? I think I know what I'd prefer. :)

    Yeahs1
  • Im not fussed by load times , but then i'm old school, my first gaming platform was the Spectrum, Games on tapes that took ten minutes to load or even longer for bigger games, 5 times out of ten the game would crash while loading and your have to start again the loading process , could be half hour before you played your game . So a couple minute load times are fine with me..--

    Yeahs1
  • and to think my 1tb Xone is at 612gb now , after installing three disc games , three 360 disc games , and a mix of nine other Xone and 360 games from Games with Gold.. Still got nine games ready to install , but putting it of as my space is vanishing.. it's no different to having a WiiU with 32gb.., i'm gonna need a hard drive for my Xone in the new year..

    Yeahs1
  • Or you could finish some of those games, then delete them for space? That's what I do with my PS4. It's not easy though, recently released FFXV is 50gb plus there's a day 1 update. Same size for XB1. My recent games, Infinite Warfare and MW1 remastered, have taken up about 90gb alone!

    Yeahs1
  • Yeah it takes me ages to complete games as i dive in and out on so many.. i find i need variation, also some times i find i only have a half hour or hour to play so end up on a beat'em up or driving game 'Splatoon or quick blast action games that really are in constant use all the time .. I find it amazing how much space is needed on the twins i recently installed The Crew , it was 18gb , then it-

    Yeahs1
  • - it needed a update of neatly 8gb , and today a new update of 4gb ,it's only a driving game and it's taken up 28gb already.. i fancied looking at the trial of Ark Survival on XONE , i started the download and the demo trial is 31gb .. But in most cases it's not game data that takes up space it's FMV , so a game heavy on cut scenes where your just watching are heavy on storage.. Where as Nintendo-

    Yeahs1
  • -avoid fmv in their games , it saves so much space.. Also so many new games are basically just part games unless you invest in the deluxe or VIP version. Standard versions of games are often not what there cracked up to be .. So yes a 90gb install i can believe could be normal for many games.. So seven games and your 1tb hard drive is full. .. mmm!

    Yeahs1
  • I don't think a 90gb install is normal, but you can see as they release DLC for call of duty that will soon increase, usually 11gb each, 4 of them. Black Ops 3 last year was only about 40-55 maybe, but before I deleted it, it was 86gb in total. So cut scenes explain it? I guess that's why its better to buy games on WiiU or 3DS like Dimensions.

    Yeahs1
  • Games like Splatoon, Call of Duty and such are great for short amounts of time. Maybe not so much Battlefield if you play conquest, can last up to 30 minutes!
