after you finish the pokemon legue, go to the alter of the sunne/moone at day in pokemon moon and night in pokemon sun and there will be a portal the the ultra dimension. You dont need to go in, but you need to go to Ula' ula medow and go foward up the bridge until you see path. Take a right, and keep going until you reach the lake of sunne/moone.     oh and you need to open the portal to the ulltra dimension by going in front of it and pressing the A buttun, or else the cutscene wont play.

    REVISION THE PORTAL DOES NOT BRING YOU TO ULTRA SPACE, IT BRINGS YOU TO THE ALTERNATE DIMENSION [ In pokemon sun it brings you to the dimension that pokemon moon takes place, and in Moon it's the other way around]
