This may come to a suprise, but an ultra ball failed to catch guardian pokemon. AND SOMEHOW OUT OF THE CRAZINESS OF THE WORLD. A NORMAL POKEBALL SUCEEDED!!!!! THE POKEMON HAD NO STATUS AFFECTS AND WAS AT FULL HP!!!

I've faced that type of thing before. In Alpha Sapphire, I encountered a LV.80 Deoxys and stupid me used a NEST BALL AND GOT 3 SHAKES! Later, I caught it with a pokeball with the help of a relative. :/ IDK For those who don't know what a nest ball is, it's more effective the LOWER the level the target is. IT WAS LEVEL 80!
