Does anyone know the trick to reveal his core? (Like how you use the bow on Gohma when her eye is violet.) I don't know what game they originate in so I haven't fought them before.

  • For the record, Manhandla first appeared in Zelda 1, and it only showed up again in Oracle of Seasons and Four Swords Adventures. Not the most popular boss with the developers, apparently.

  • In Hyrule Warriors or on the original game? I'm sure he must have been awful to fight in the first game.

  • In the original game, it was a pushover, really. You just had to cut off its four blooms to kill it. You could even one-hit kill it if you used a bomb at the right time. The Hyrule Warriors version of Manhandla fights more like the Oracle of Seasons version, in which the blooms were only vulnerable to the boomerang when they were open.

  • Oh. That does sound a bit annoying to do. I haven't been able to play any of the GB games except for Link's Awakening. Of course, I am definitely stuck on it.

  • Yeah, Oracle of Seasons' Manhandla was an annoying fight. It never opened the blooms on the side you were facing, so you had to manoeuver the boomerang around so it went behind it and hit the blooms on the other side, whenever they opened. Add to that that the boss room is filled with conveyor belts and you had one really annoying fight on your hands.
