Interesting. So if you part ways with a fairy that you have levelled up enough then you can get your hands on this, a Gratitude Crystal. It gives a +12 bonus to all traits. This seems like it will be key to unlocking some of the more difficult fairy abilities.

  • Correction: it seems that there are multiple types Gratitude Crystals. The type that is left behind depends on the elemental type of the dismissed fairy. A fairy gets a bigger stat boost if it has the same element as the Gratitude Crystal. In this case, my light element fairy would get +12 to all stats from the light GC but only +10 to all stats from the dark GC.

  • And finally, the reason for all my fairy-grinding: Material Master+! The original Material Master skill causes enemies to drop double loot for a small period of time. I wonder what this skill will do.

  • Apparently Material Master+ does the exact same thing as regular MM but you can use the skill 3 times per stage. The effect doesn't stack with the Twilight Princess Map's effect unfortunately. In fact, you can't even activate the rental skill while playing on that map. If you don't want to give up a level 50 or above fairy for a gold GC, then you can always trade in a level 25-49 fairy for a

  • How do you part ways with a fairy?

  • To part ways with a fairy you need to get the maximum number of fairies and then collect one more. You'll have the option to choose which fairy to get rid of.

  • You mean gain experience? I found that any of the divisive mission stages in Adventure Mode work pretty well, especially the later missions where you fight three enemies. Personally, for Hyrule Warriors Legends I just stuck to using Link and leveling everyone else up with rupees.
