I sure hope SMM Switch edition will expand with more Pixel Characters, especially since Boo, Waddle Dee, Ryu, Roy, and the Miis are currently unobtainable. Presumably Corran, Bayonetta, and Cloud will be as well. Please Nintendo just expand upon certain games for Switch and give us WiiU owners who Switch to the Switch the extras as DLC.

    I actually have a feeling they will. We also got more Zelda amiibo for BotW. I really want more Mario characters from recent games. Maybe more characters from NES/SNES classic titles. Why not have consoles & portables as costumes.

    I also think SSB assist Trophies should get there own Amiibo, as is we only have Waluigi I believe. I know It would be weird, but Color TV 15 Amiibo would be cool, which also would be a costume for SMM

    Oh yeah, being the big Yoshi fan how can I forget about Poochy. I highly doubt assist trophies will get amiibo unless they can find a use for certain ones in other games. If Nintendo putting new characters in MK8/Switch I think the Boo amiibo will give a new Mii outfit to represent King Boo. Would love Plessie & Dry Bones too.

    I think Mario Switch could use a Boo Amiibo and a Goomba Amiibo as a power up much like SMG2 and SM3DW

    Nintendo should really make amiibo of the very common but favorite enemies of Mario games. When it comes to basic video game enemies, Mario's enemies are the best known. Another cool idea is amiibo Pokemon cards. AC did it & Pokemon cards are major collectables already. Using Poke cards for Poke games could work in the future. And I don't even play Pokemon like that.

    Seriously, I only have classic Poke games: Yellow, Snap & Stadium. But I am trying to watch all 900 eps + movies at the moment. Right now it's Pokemon Advance. But anyway back to amiibo. What about gimmicks? Boo can glow, Bowser & DK can switch into skylander mode, Yoshi has yarn and ACcards. I would love to see an amiibo act as an action figure.

    well Jaks Pacific released a gel like Metroid toy so I think Nintendo could follow suit with that, as for original Ideas maybe something akin to those things that change colors with the temperature, the only problem I cant think of who would make a good Amiibo canidate

    Hmm... could work for characters that come in a various colors. Inklings can be blue in cold & orange as it heats up or maybe Yoshi. How about colors that change by mood? Amiibos that make noise like toys by button or squeezing. It's a lot of ideas Nint can make amiibos for some titles in the feature.

    But what about support? The only games I know amiibo work best are Woolly World, Paper Jam & even BotW because you use them like assistance. Nobody seems to like training them as partners or opponents in Smash or Tennis because your still going with CPU. And unlocking content like in MK8 only gives it one use.
