I caught Necrozma at full hp with 1 great ball. I meant to use my master ball because i did not want to take the time to capture a pokemon with a 3 capture rate... Guess it didnt matter though lol.

    You mean you can catch the Ultra Beasts without Beast Balls? Good, because I prefer to catch all my legendaries in Premier Balls.

    Necrozma is not an Ultra beast. But yes, you can catch them in regular pokeballs. It is just painful.
