YEEEEEES >8D With the help of Cute Charm Sylveon, Shiny female Salandit is MINE! AND in a Beast Ball! Not sure how many chains, but four and a half hours of chaining and then nearly half an hour to actually catch her. Her name is Beastly. Now to EV train her. @w@

  • Beast Balls are totally not worth regularly using for hunting, though. Even with this girly mostly failing to SOS for anyone, it still took forever to the point I was afraid she'd start struggling. @A@

  • I have a question about chaining now: do you have to keep the original pokémon that appeared during the entire chain, or can you KO the first one that appeared and started the chain?

  • This is my first successful chain, but I think all you have to worry about is keeping the same type of pokemon alive. So when I had a Salandit I knew was running out of PP, KO'don't it and kept the Salandit that was called, and continued on. I'm not positive if that actually keeps the chain going or breaks it, though. x:
