trials

ok so i got pokemon moon just yesterday night and I AM ADDICTED!!! But im worried that im already too far ahead because my friend is getting it soon and i want him to catch up! So I just completed the 5th trial AKA the forest thing where u make this weird recipe. I am even that far??? How many trials left to go?
