    But SOS training double your EVs at the end of the battle. Its easier to EV train with power items.

    But SOS training can get annoying when the target spams sand attack. Also by chance you encounter the Pokemon you are looking for. Previously you can use sweet scent and have a 100% of encountering 5 Pokemon with the EV you want.
