I can't get used to how sometimes the Ultra Ball might shake midair, then wobble twice quickly, and you got the mon you wanted. Is this the critical capture I've been hearing about?

    The more pokemon you catch, the more likely it will happen. The feature started in gen 5 btw.

    It should only be shaking once on the ground, and not at all in the air, but the way you know your throw is a crit. capture is it will make a different sound when you throw the Pokéball.

    I had a crit. capture 3 times in this game. First time it happened,I put my console down to have a sip of a drink,and was caught off-guard by the capture being very swift. It didn't shake,but vibrated slightly.I have the sound turned off for the most part,too (unfortunately),so I mainly pay attention to animation(s). I'll have to get used to this then.I really didn't know this was a thing before.
