Which starter do i choose?!

So i'm getting pokemon moon within the next hour, but the question is - which starter do i pick?

    u see rowlet and poplio have better STAB then litten and rowlet is effectiv against poplio and i think decidueye is the greninja of sm

    I chose Litten in Sun and Pop in moon. i have a ton of Rowlets in Sun from breeding as well. You cant go wrong w/ any choice

    Decidueye is really slow and has a bad typing which leaves it vulnerable to a lot of strong attacks. Best design of the final evos imo. Incineroar has some good things but the design is, meh. It's also a physical attacker but learns many special fire moves. Popplio has a really good typing and it's evo, is bulky while also good in sp. offense, I would say Popplio is better.

    Not saying Popplio because of bias or anything but honestly is the better of the three. It resists quite a few types, it has an amazing special attack for a starter, and is still bulky. Decidueye is my favorite by design but Primarina is really really good. It gets ice beam to take care of grass too.

    Well, i would say type wise, incineroar, cuz theres not too many fire types and not too many dark types, stat wise primaria, but theres a lot of tanky water types this gen, and design wise dedicueye. personally im getting dedicueye

    i reccomend litten or popleio in the long run decidueye is bad considering it's low speed mixed with the many weaknesses the pokemon has

    littens final evolution may be on the slow side with a few weaknesses, but it can take those hits considering it's defensive stats

    @nick, all the starters are on the slow side, and dedecueye is actually kinda a special defensive tank

    Choose Incineroar!! It is massively underrated!! Everybody hates it for it's design. But that's not true!! It's design is absolutely amazing!! Don't jump on the hate bandwagon!! Show Incineroar that it is still loved!!
