    It can be shiny, so don't worry, you can reset for a shiny one.

    Actually scratch that. I just checked the shiny lock list and it doesn't seem to be on there, which would suggest that it actually isn't locked. My mistake. Weird, because I could have sworn it was there.

    It's not Shiny Locked. I just got one today off the GTS trying to complete my PokeDex. I put up,a Weavile asking for Silvally and I was shocked to get one. When I found out ut was shiny, I got REALLY happy. Best trade off the GTS for me. EVER!

    Yeah, sorry about that XD I was totally wrong. I figured it was locked because everything else you can SR for is locked, and also I could have sworn I saw it on the shiny lock list. But I gave the list a thorough double-check and it's not on there. So it's not locked, and good luck! :)

    @ty LUCKY! I might try that, i got a shiny lvl 100 Japanese Ditto on GTS once, i posted a shiny eevee and was shocked, i just needed a ditto in general but was very happy to recieve a shiny foreign one! Still haven't gotten to check IVs on it yet bc idk how to in sun, yet. I also got a shiny female level 40ish Primarina off GTS aswell, for a common pokemon, [cant remember what i posted excatly]

    Usually, I just look and see if anyone on YT doing any Giveaways on the GTS. Like last night, I saw someone giving away 6IV Shiny JPN Ditto with D. Knot. I put the Pokemon they were asking for and waited. I actually watch the person scroll to my IGN person, and trade the Ditto to me. I'm "Famous" now, LOL! Also, I got a Lvl 1 ★6IV Porygon-Z asking for I believe Milotic. 4 Posts Left
