    It is unsaid but most likely also really challenging. You can however get shinies in battle when the Pokemon calls for help. That however takes time and patience

    Also, did you know that pokémon that appear in the Poké Pelago can be shiny? I've seen skarmory, kadabra, and lapras shinies in the pelago.... on the internet

    Cool and I never knew that. I do however know that by keeping Poké Beans out and checking on the Pokémon a lot will result in you getting the Pokémon (that happened to me once, I got a Carbink)
