    If you status them they won't call for help, so thunder wave or toxic them.

    Also the more pokemon that are called the better your chance of having a pokemon with good IVs

    I'm mostly just catching Pokemon for Pokedex completion, so I always found it really annoying that you can't catch them when there's two out on the field. Thanks for letting me know about the status effect thing, though.

    @OG Yes! I was getting tired of continuous encounters with wild pkmn calling for help, making the battles longer. Sleeping powder should do the trick! Thank-you! :D @Noah Oh! I had a thought that more Pkmn come to help, your chances to encounter a shiny will increase or something like that. Thanks! @Marco Same! I'm also going for the Pokedex completion. Darn wild Pkmn aren't letting me so.
