Whats up with chain catching.

Was trying to start a chain with a formantis today, Had the adrenaline ball used, it down to 1hp and paralyzed. 20 turns and it never called for help. Somewhat weird, but eh. I only got like.. 80 pokemon to go till I complete Dex. Shiny charm +Egg charm+ Masuda method.. yay~

    they never call for help if they have a status condition, it's the failsafe for being able to end a chain and catch something

    If a pokemon has a status condition, it will not call for help. So you can't paralyze it if you want the chain to keep going. Only paralyze the opponent when you found what you want and you want the chain to end.
