I saw the new trailer of Breath of the Wild today! It shows that there's going to be village people in the game. It also shows a female characters which I don't know if its Zelda or a female protagonist. I'm can't wait for the game to be out with the Nintendo Switch.

  • Link is the only protagonist. He is also 100% male. They don't want him to be female.

  • Its most likely Zelda in adventure clothing, and then Zelda in her royal dress.

  • I wouldn't mind if there are segments where you control Zelda, come to think of it. Her being playable in "Spirit Tracks" was a lot of fun.

    Yeahs2
  • But the game director said there would be no second character option. That you play as link, and that link is a boy still. Link has become a character more than a link to the player and the game. He can't be named either.

  • If its Zelda, thats fine. Its just sometimes you never know if its her or a different person.

    Yeahs1
  • It seems to be like sheik. Where she is exploring the wilds, and you don't know she is the princess until the moment you come to the castle. Or you time travel to the past before she had to stay in the castle.

  • Its a theory though.

  • Village People?......♪Y-M-C-A♪

  • Dominic, there are bird people! I believe that they are the evolutions of the skylofts, like many people are thinking. The reason why, was that their tribe symbol was the skyloft. People are also saying that they can't be Rito because they look too bird-like. And another thing is that they showed the one in the trailer and one in the gameplay. The one in the gameplay was a macaw while the other

  • was puffin like.

  • I just thought Link will be all alone with no NPC in the entire game. Then I see a village with people and a warrior fighting a moblin which its confirmed.

    Yeahs0
  • They said at E3 that they took the villages out so that people can't find out the story. The villages are a big way to get story they said.

    Yeahs2
  • Nah, the devs explained that the villages wouldn't be in the E3 demo so that their location wouldn't be spoiled. I'm looking forward to seeing how big the world is in person, and how much of the gameplay will take place interacting with NPCs Vs. roughing it alone.

    Yeahs1
  • I understand now.

  • I want a Zelda game where link becomes a bird man!
