    One good tip is to hold the Minus/Select button for a couple of seconds at the beginning of each course. That way you can see if there are any insta-death troll traps and skip the level if there are. And speaking of troll levels, it's always a good idea to skip those. If you even think it might be a troll level, skip it. Overall, Expert mode isn't too terrible. You should probably be fine.
