    I see comments on this line a lot. I was pretty shocked when I read it. I assume it's a rather Japanese thing to say... I would have altered it in localization x_X

    IMO people are just overlooking Ford's line here... The only reason he says this is just because of his personality, not anything else. It's just a line from a video game character. No one should be taking this too far...

    I played the japanese version and that line is non existent in the original game. In the japanese game, he says that those with talents should aim higher or something like that, so it was Xseed who have added such controversial line to the english version for whatever reason, not the developer themselves.
