Waluigi is looking very sinister in this picture and has a funny "oh no" face. He, along with Wario, Rozetta and Donkey Kong, has the best "oh no" face. I sincerely hope that Nintendo will give artwork like this to other characters that were not in this game in the future.

  • And even that was not all that interesting. The Koopalings get even less in Color Splash somehow. They only show up for their boss fight and once they are defeated, they disappear until the end of the game where they are all shown (far away I should add) together in an Airship right before they get shot down by a stray firework.

  • I can certainty see why many people are tired of them. ...although I do wish they all would have just A LITTLE more patience...

  • This is why Koopalings in MK8 & Paper Jam were good. In MK8, we got to see more of there personality in games when not as villains. Paper Jam showed somewhat interaction between them. Like Wendy attacking Roy & mentioning how Larry is lazy. But to overuse them as bosses is what needs to stop. Of course people wanted the Koopalings back are we're happy it happened. But it gets old quick if...

  • you constantly show them in the same role. Even the DiC cartoons gave them more personality. We know Bowser & Bowser Jr's characteristics but not the Koopalings. Color Splash did it wrong to only show them as bosses. Even M&L:SSS didn't show personality, you just fight them. Paper Jam did it right.

  • I also wanna see more of Plessie(which is myself). He appeared in SM3DW with a similar role to Yoshi in SMW, heck both have same B-Day. But as similar his role is to Yoshi's... it's not much. Unlike Plessie, when Yoshi first appeared he had an assortment of abilities and can be taken to most levels. There were other Yoshis too red, blue & yellow as well as babies.

  • But Plessie only appeared as yes a ridable character like Yoshi, but his only use is to slide/swim from point A-B in 5(6th as cameo) levels. But of course he's ment for players to work together by syncing there actions. And of course many found this difficult when it's not that hard. Plus levels like the ones in W-★ & W-Bowser made him look useless. You could of swam yourself to the other side.

  • Plessie is a large water dinosaur based on the lock-ness monster like Dorrie but with limbs. You can easily find better roles for him. He can slam & crush on small enemies or just simply walk over'em, and small projectiles won't bother him. If you listen closely next to him his tail swagging is loud, you can tell it's strong. He could be used to break objects you normally can't.

  • Being a swimmer, unlike Yoshi being allowed to not swim underwater with Mario in 3D games, Plessie can and will take Mario faster underwater. See how I found points that work. Maybe for that Mario Switch game & Rabbid RPG. Many characters deserve a spot, others need a break or development. But hey, it's Miyamoto.

  • Wendy and Roy's boss battle made me laugh so much that they get my "favorite boss battle for the entire series stamp". And yeah...(to all of your posts so that I do not bombard you with "yeahs"). Plessie would be a really cool character to have around more often. Same with Birdo. And bringing Rex back (as NOT an enemy, like how Birdo was) would complete their little team of cuteness.

  • For Tyler Oh, you said Waluigi was only your second favorite character earlier. So who is your favorite character then?

  • Wario my favorite As for the koopalings. It depends for me, if their just gonna be bosses, then I don't mind if they little to personally in the game rather it be main game or spin off, if they were gonna be story important, then yah, have them have personality. Besides, at the end of the day, not counting the rpgs, your not planning mario for personality or story.

    Yeahs1
  • Rex would also be nice to have. Actually there hasn't been many SMW characters that returned well. Few came back in the NSMB 2 & U games like baby Yoshis, Reznors & Torpedo Teds. The Galoombas also come back in 3DW and Koopas losing shells. Dino Rhinos recently came back in ColorSplash. But that's it.

    Yeahs1
  • Charging Chucks too come back, but no Rex, eeries, Super Feather(Cape), Jumping Piranhas. Blaargs did return since Galaxy but look very different. SMW enemies & items don't show up as much. MKart would be a nice way to see them come back.

    Yeahs1
  • Well the Super Feather made a cameo appearance at Sunshine Airport in Mario Kart 8. But I have not seen any Eerie or Jumping Piranha.

  • i do agree with bringing back mario world enemys, partly because i'm tired of mario 3 nostalgia in mario games. alease bring back the cape feather.

    Yeahs0
  • Oh yea I remember finding thst feather on my own in MK8. It was also in Super Bell Subway. But still, SMB & SMB3 is getting too much attention. In Sticker Star & Color Splash you can tell it did it too much. Paper Jam at least tried to make use of 3DW enemies in a nice way. What's weird is even though Miyamoto favors SMW more yet those two still get more refs.

    Yeahs0
  • Same for SMB2(USA). 3DW's has a couple of SMB2 refs like the D Cherries, Histocrat outfit resembles Wart, slot machines & arabian levels in CT:TT. C.Toad even brought back turnips... yet we don't see any characters from SMB2. We only have Shyguys & Birdos.

    Yeahs0
  • I cannot think of a proper response other than it is very strange how that is but you are both correct.

  • For Tyler Oh, and commenting on your personality not really mattering in the games aside from the rpgs......That is completely agreeable, and I do agree, but they do enhance the experience a bit, yes?

    Yeahs0
    Played
  • Yah but if their only purpose is to be bosses, then it not that big of a deal. It be nice yes. I will agree
