I see what you mean on the switch being backwards compatible. However, it seems they are not offering that since most Wii U games are being ported over. And yeah, it can be disappointing to hear that, but do you blame them? Making the switch backwards compabitle would limit it severely. They would have to have a touchscreen, you would have to have both screens out at the same time, (tv and switch

Screen) have an included stylus, which, doesn't look like it. Sure, it stinks not having that transfer, but, if Nintendo did it, the switch would basically be a Wii U 2.

And I honestly don't know if that would be what everyone wants. Nintendo has done the whole "duel screen thing" for some time now, and I just feel like it's great for them to move on to something else.

@Louis- Fair enough. I have Splatoon, but I spend 98% of my gaming time not using the tv and unfortunately, Splatoon uses both the tv and Gamepad at the sime time. @Jaden- Hello back. @Isaiah- You have a point. I guess I never thought about the difficulty of bringing Wii U games to the Switch because of the TV/Gamepad play.

As stated above, I almost never use the tv to play videogames anymore. So my mind now thinks of Wii U games as single screen experiences. That mean like I've gotten ZombiU and Splatoon, but I've never been able to enjoy them. Most other Wii U games have off tv play. Here's an interesting question- Will the Nintendo Switch have Miiverse?

It is possible to type a comment without a touchscreen (try accessing Miiverse while holding and Wiimote and numchuck. It's quite an experience) but Miiverse is so much better with a touchscreen. Being able to contact other Nintendo players, share gaming experiences and set up online gaming sessions is absolute genius. It would be a shame if Miiverse went away.

Speaking of gaming sessions...I think I'll be available for some online hunting sessions in either MH4U or MHGen tomorrow night. Or I could do some Mario Kart 7. Would Friday at 6:00pm central time work for anybody? I'm staying over night at a co-worker's house. Another blizzard is coming up this weekend (Gulp) Because of this, I won't have my Wii U with me. But my 3 3DS systems are coming along.

Haha, your quote made me laugh out loud Hero. On a side note, I've gone through and deleted most of my posts.

@Red- Ok. I personally enjoy looking at my old/awkward posts ;) @Jaden- Sounds good. Hero 2.0 will try to create a MH4U room at that time. If something comes up, I apologize in advance. Well, I'm back to cleaning. Turning Miiverse off now.

Haha, each to their own. I still have a good amount of old posts but a lot of them were silly because I wasn't very mature.

@Hero yeah, I get what you mean. I really don't have much time for games then I used to. So I'm sure your happy about the hybrid thing on the switch ;) As much as I would love to have miiverse on the switch, I don't think it will happen due to the following, Nintendo actually revealed they are dropping the "Wii" brand, so that basically means no miis either, which mean, no MIIverse.

It wouldn't really be fair to continue miiverse onto next gen. Think about it, if the switch come out and it does get miiverse, what will happen to 3ds and Wii U? What about after the switch? It just does not make sense to continue something console after console after console, with the same thing.

Also, I really want Nintendo to come up with a great online experience. I really hope they come up with something similar to miiverse maybe..
