    I've noticed the similarities between Heliolisk and Salazzle (given that they're both frail but fast special-attacking reptiles with unique typings), but at the same time I don't think their abilities could have been swapped in any way, particularly considering that Heliolisk was released in Gen 6 and Salazzle Gen 7.     [cont] Dry Skin Salazzle would be pretty cool, as Mollux proves) My point is moreso that Corrosion would be much better on a defensive 'mon and Merciless on an offensive one, yet they were released on Pokémon fitting the opposite description.
