What if the codenames are meant to be swapped? Pokemon Rainbow was for Sun and Moon, and the sequels is Stars; Necrozma is the Prism Pokemon and refracts light, in a 'rainbow,' amd the sun is a star. O.o Could happen such likeness...

    Nintendo haven't made sequels for Pokemon games for a few years now, the closest was Black 2 and White 2 and those were in 2012; just accept there won't be a "Pokemon Star" or whatever as it's just a load of hogwash!

    @ToastyLegs- Keep in mind, B2W2 was the FIRST to do this, so we have no real grasp on when another 'sequel generation' would happen again. Also, both Black and White and S/M were the two 'story-based' Pokémon games, which makes this so much more plausible. You may think this is all fake hogwash... But I disagree! (Sorry, sorry, bad Colress joke. ^-^")

    i'm not even gonna get my hopes up. i've heard rumors that sun and moon are supposed to be the last games of the pokemon series. i hope not. these games are fun.

    (I'm now on a second sleepless night so may not write especially well). @JessIGuess First off, considering a whole new formula to the game is present with trials instead of gyms, I doubt there will be much more for a supposed sequel to offer; yeah you can look back on B2/W2, but it seems Nintendo are moving forward, those could just be something only for Gen 5 as Pokemon games have (1/?)

    something to define each generation to make them stand out, like how Gen 2 had the ability to walk with a partner Pokemon, or OR/AS with them going back to having the PMC/PM as separate buildings as it's a remake, even though they have been combined since Gen 5. For Gen 7, the island trials were what made them unique from previous games, I doubt they'll make a sequel to them like B2/W2 (2/?)

    because there are some places that look unfinished, look at the power plant in XY, people thought there would be a Pokemon Z, but there wasn't. It may be nice to speculate that there could be a new game where Lillie is in it again, something to do with Gen 1 since there was a lot to do with it, but it was just a way to end the story and was a good finish to the Sun and Moon games. (3/?)

    There are places that look unfinished as it gives a real world vibe to the game as there is construction going on, nowhere is every fully built, something is always going on and there are also places people can't go, like the power plant in XY. Now I shall go back to my essay I have been putting off for a while and may respond when I have free time.
