    Yeah. I guess I can make breeding for shiny's and competitive breeding different. I can just Hyper Train Shinies and then chain for a 6IV Ditto for easy IVs.

    Yeah, SOSing works as well. Up to 4 guaranteed perfect IVs, on top of increased shiny chance.

    It's surely possible. Depending on where you're at in a chain. The IVs and HA chances and all reset at 255 enocunters, so basically goes back to 0.

    I strive to keep only legit ones in my game. The person who gave it to me is the same way and trustworthy. I have no reason to doubt it's legitimacy.

    Yes, I like to be the same way, which is why I have been asking so much about the Ditto. It will be my primary breeding mon, and then if it isn't... any pokemon that I IV breed or masuda method for will be rendered illegal, and all the hard work I put on them will feel useless. However, I will trust you on this, and your japanese friend. Thank you very much, and Merry Christmas.
