    The only time I like rap is when it's mixed with normal singing. I don't like music that is all rap. From Ashes to New is an example. They are a mix of rap, metal, and techno. It may sound like too much, but they are amazing.

    Just a reminder that I don't hate anyone that likes rap or anything, and there are some versions I can tolerate and stuff when I hear them on things. I just find it a tad annoying when someone says a rap artist didn't rip anything off by sampling, because technically it still counts. Sure it flies by legal matters on most cases, but... Anyway, yeah pretty much my 2 cents on rap.

    Either way I've got a new look on sampling though, it's not really full-on "stealing" I guess. In a way maybe it can be seen as someone appreciating something enough to reuse elements of it?
