Check your Pokemon's date.

I've been traded Pokemon with dates that don't seem right. They are from the years 2011, 2013, and 2015. If you have recieaved Pokemon with dates that are before 11/17/16 then release them (If you try to trade them you won't be able to trade for a while. It happened to me).

    It's probably because people did't care and just put in a random date on their 3ds when setting it up.

    i think its because of it uses the time thats set on the ds at the time its caught. if i was to change the date on my ds and catch a pokemon, it would say that date on its summary rather than the real date.
