    By the time Switch Smash was released, FE:Fates would be outdated. Either keep him in or nothing. He's still useless, though.

    I'd agree...he's pretty unique in comparison to the other FE fighters, but seeing as they added him in Smash before FE Fates was released worldwide along with the massive amount of advertisement FE Fates was getting at the time, he felt like an advertisement Imo. Great character tho.

    I think adding new characters from new games that people are excited about is kinda exactly what Smash does all the time. It's not "advertisement"; it's giving fans what they want and cashing in on currently popular stuff.
