    Krillin's a big fan favorite out of the weaker ones, and was at one point stated to be the strongest earthling, I can totally see why they'd want him in, Roshi over Yamcha is definitely off, Goten and Trunks not being in at all needs some explaining, but them being so young could explain it. And as for Chiaotzu... he's no one's favorite Z fighter. They probably didn't care enough to consider him.

    Android 17's a pretty random competitor too considering he isn't really a Z Fighter and isn't particularly close to anyone in that group except his sister and (maybe?) his brother-in-law and niece, but at least he finally gets a chance to star in Super.

    I like 17's return, hope he gets the chance to interact with everyone, and makes 18 fit in even more, now she has major connections with two people.
