Already thinking about 2017

I really want to try to change the way I go about certain things on Miiverse next year. I want to actually interact with my friends, be more open to making new friends, and maybe drawing in other communities more often...?

  • I don't usually like change. I stick with one set of things and don't try much else. But I feel like I'm treating my friends poorly, and that definitely needs to change. There's one Miiverse friend I have that I talk to just about every day. I wish I was at least HALF that interactive with my other friends too. But with the Wii U's discontinuation...

  • I'm likely going to have to rely on outside sources of communication. I mean, if anyone's willing. I do have another couple of Miiverse friends that I started chatting with outside of Miiverse. Since I don't really know how to initiate conversations, I haven't talked to them for a long while now. It makes me a little sad, but mostly frustrated at myself for not having the courage to say "hi" first

  • Most of the time, I just don't know what to talk about. Idk... Another thing I would like to do is be more "alive" on Miiverse... maybe? Well, this is harder for me because the Switch is coming out next year, and although I won't outright stop using my Wii U, I'll probably be using it a lot less once I get the Switch and THE NEW LOZ GAMEEEE. But being more "alive" on Miiverse goes along with...

  • Wanting to be a better friend, maybe with a more positive outlook. Because how it feels now, I'm just some random artist that posts drawings every now and then and you're lucky if I respond to your comment. I don't think anyone actually knows me, just like in school; all anyone knows about me in school is that I'm quiet, artistic, and "nice."

  • Well, now that I can't stop thinking about it, I don't even think these problems will matter much if I just ask my close friends to contact me outside of Miiverse. I mean, I doubt many people are going to use their Wii U consoles much after the Switch comes out. If only I had thought to do these things sooner.

  • i think you're a great friend and person overall. its understandable that chatting with people could be hard because things pop up in everybody's lives. just like the new pokemon game impacted my posts and how frequently i posted. just because you're busy or doing other things doesn't make you any less of a friend. i do hope we may talk more in the future (tbc)

  • especially with the mentions of contacting friends elsewhere. i unfortunately do not have much of elsewhere but my profile message thing gives the best hint as to what i have in case you're interested in seeing more of me. you were one of the very first people i saw on miiverse and i'm thrilled to be your friend. please never forget that i will always admire and look up to you

  • Tbh, I'm really only good at keeping in fairly constant contact with a few people at a time, so it's completely understandable that you don't interact consistently with many people. I really wish I could do better in the whole "interacting with others" deal. I feel like the only reason I've been communicating with people on Miiverse so much is because I've been mostly stuck at home for months.

  • I'm going to stick with my Wii U for as long as I possibly can. TBH, the more I'm hearing about the Switch, the less it fits my needs and because of that I'm less interested in getting it. :/ I just hope the Switch has Miiverse so it keeps going. I don’t want it to essentially die off. Anyway, you’re an awesome friend. :3 I feel really bad we haven’t continued Osomatsu San in flipping forever,

    Yeahs3
  • but I’d love to do that at some point.

  • AWww, I see this too late (at school rn), but I'll come back! I want to cheer up my BFF as best I can! x3

  • I know what you mean about having trouble starting conversations with people I have three questions to ask people to try to start a conversation if the fails then I've got nothing.

    Yeahs0
  • I'm always happy to talk to you... you know where. You may remember that conversation starting - particularly in person - never was my strong point, either. Also, if you're looking to network, I know a couple of meme royals/Pokémon fanatics who'd prolly enjoy your company. Despite their age, they are dear friends to me, so... yeah, I think you'll like them. Just let me know!

  • Aww, true when the Switch came out the wiiU prob will start get some dust ^^' Hope miiverse will come to Switch. I think Anju and Smol.Sava said pretty much what could say. Starting conversation is kinda hard, me admit ^^' What I usually do is starting to ask how the other doing or by a silly joke (appropriate one), that pretty much what me can help, just don't worry too much, u're great person!^^

    Yeahs1
