THERE IS AN IMPOSTER SAGE!!!!!

So, there are 7 sages in this game, excluding Zelda. In Ocarina of Time, there are 6 sages, excluding Zelda. This means that there is an imposter!

    Let's think. The forest sage in Ocarina is Saria. The one in A link Between Worlds is Gulley. Is there anyone else in this game that could be a forest sage?

    The fire sage in OoT is Daurina. The fire sage in this game I think is the guy that throws rocks.

    The only sorta out of place-ish one seems to be Seres (or whatever her name is...), but that's just my guess.

    Maybe an extra "sage-slot" was added some time between Ocarina of Time and A Link Between Worlds. Also, as the daughter of the Preist, Seres seems like she could fit in as the be the Spirit Sage.

    I agree with Seres being the Spirit sage. The out of place one is Irene, because she seems like a Sage of Shadow, but there is also Impa.

    Maybe the extra sage-slot was the Sage of Magic. If this is the case, Irene would fit. But again, we don't even know that another sage was added. It's just a theory. Tell me if you like it. Which sage is next?

    My thoughts on this is, what if the Impa in this game is the Zelda from A Link to the Past? Her hairstyle is similar to the Zelda in Twilight Princess, though it's nothing like the one in ALttP, but that doesn't mean she never changed her hairstyle later on in life.

    Either that, or the royal family decided that it wasn't safe for the princess to be a maiden/sage anymore after the events of ALttP where Agahnim kidnapped all 7 of them, of which Zelda was one.

    Another thing, the game strongly hints that Gramps is the Link from A Link to the Past given his green clothes, all the items he has, his unknown old age, the fact that he's the strongest boss in the game (if you complete all 50 shadow battle achievements) & how the Zelda theme plays when he is shown in the ending.

    My thoughts of this are that he kept the Triforce of Courage until the Link in ALBW was worthy of having it and that's why he lived way beyond a normal lifetime. And if this is true, then maybe the Zelda from ALttP did the same with the Triforce of Wisdom & gave it to the Zelda from ALBW & became the Impa of ALBW after living beyond a normal lifetime thanks to the Triforce of Wisdom.
