    Sort of makes me wonder if Disney will just write her character out of the remaining 2 films or if they'll just get someone to replace Carrie Fisher as Leia.

    She had just finished filming for Episode VIII not too long ago, so Episode IX is where the real questions lie. I'd honestly rather have her written out or to have the character pass away rather than replacing her with another actress. It just wouldn't seem right.

    If they do replace Carrie Fisher, the actress has to be the same age or close to same age. Also is it wierd that out of all star wars actors, R2's original actor is the shortest and the one everyone will miss the second most behind Carrie herself?

    Yeah, I heard. Debbie Reynolds was most famous for Singin' in the Rain. My love goes out to her friends and family. I can't imagine how hard it must be to lose two wonderful people so close together.
