Question

Can someone help me get started?

I don't really know how to program BASIC but I really want to. I need someone to give me beginner lessons. I know how print works and locate. I just need help. Just something, like, how to use things effectively.

    If it doesn't work, tell me what the errors are. If the error is TYPE MISMATCH ON 0:3 then you typed the wrong characters for quotation marks.

    The print command displays text on the upper screen and can be used as such, PRINT "Hello" . This will display "Hello" on the upper screen. Buttons work similarly to how petit computer buttons did so just ask if you want me to explain those too.

    For buttons you must have a variable equal a number. For example, The a button's value when pressed is 16. Example code: A=16 IF A==Button(0) Then @label @label (Place code here)

    If you use buttons in this fashion the code undet @label will run when the A button is pressed. I hope this helped!

    Indeed, I don't. But I have petit computer (The "old" version of SmileBasic) and the programming language is extremely similar. Have you tried this yet? I am anxious to find out if it works.
