    He used a 30th anniversary modern 8-bit Mario amiibo in the "Super Mario Bros" style then left the mushroom there then went into the "New Super Mario Bros. U" style and for some reason the mushroom stays where you put it but nothing happens to you when you touch it ( this trick works in the other Super Mario styles to! ) :)
