    For best results, make the Eevee's different languages, and different trainers. You will get more eggs, and the shiny odds will go from about 1 in 4000 to 1 in 600. I think

    You can go on the summary screen to check for the original trainer, or OT, but just check at the name rater. Even if the trainers have the same name, you can only name your own pokemon. And changing parents does not reset shiny chances unless the other conditions i mentioned change
