    Love SomeCallMeJohnny! And I think the trilogy is the best Sonic has done in the portable market with Sonic Advance 1 being a really good modern take on the classic games, Sonic Advance 2 being a bit weaker, but still good, and Sonic Advance 3 being decent. At worst it's still a trilogy that hits two-out-of-three, and for Sonic, that's a pretty good accomplishment.

    I never played the first game, but I did the other two. The sense of speed in Advance 2 was a trill, but I was never able to collect the Chaos Emeralds. Trying to access the Special Stages was never enjoyable, and neither was playing them.

    As for Advance 3, I was able to 100% it. However the enemy placement was cheap at numerous points, and the level design was too stop-and-go for a Sonic game. I am grateful that it saved each Chao you rescued, so you never have to get them again.

    From what little I played of the first Advance, I liked it. It felt like a solid Sonic game. Trying to get the Emeralds was a pain, though.
