    I'm OK with the controls too... But then there is the fact that the game is short, relies on old game mechanics like on-rails shooters, small battle spaces, and very linear design. It tried so hard to bring back old memories, it just ended up behind the times.

    Yeah, the fact that Nintendo and PlatinumGames couldn't come up with a new story and rehash the one from SF64 is just too lazy. What really annoys me is the fact that they even rehash some of the exact same lines from SF64.

    This game is so disappointing. Parts are truly awesome. But some are just out of date and others are dreadfully bad (Zoness, CyberMonkeyHead boss... Is that you?) Take out the lame parts, and you have a REALLY short game. Had they made an all new game with just the Arwing and tank, all free-range, it could have been amazing. But instead we got a pick and mix bag of great, lame, and recycled.
